| WILLCOM Announces the ‘WILLCOM Wireless LAN Option’ |
WILLCOM, Inc. and WILLCOM OKINAWA, Inc. are pleased to announce the June 1, 2006 launch of the WILLCOM Wireless LAN Option, an optional service for use in wireless LAN service areas for use in addition to current WILLCOM services such as AIR-EDGE.
The Wireless LAN Option service will allow customers to utilize HOTSPOT*, a wireless LAN service provided by NTT Communications Corporation, for fast data transmission at about 3,000 access points in 47 prefectures nationwide.
WILLCOM will offer a free trial service from early December 2005 through May 31, 2006, for customers purchasing the WS003SH, a new W-ZERO3 wireless LAN enabled handset from Sharp, which will be released in early December 2005*.
By combining the extensive service area of AIR-EDGE with fast data transmission at up to 36 Mbps in wireless LAN service areas, the convenience of mobile data transmission will be greatly enhanced.
* HOTSPOT is the name of a wireless LAN service by NTT Communications Corporation and a registered trademark.
* Depending on the state of the trial service, it may be extended to additional monitors during the above period.

| 3. Equipment required and usage method |
To use the “WILLCOM Wireless LAN Option” service, one of the following types of wireless LAN equipment, compliant with IEEE802.11b/11a, is needed.
• WILLCOM SIM STYLE “W-ZERO3" (IEEE802.11b)
•PC, PDA, etc. with built-in wireless LAN capability
•PC, PDA, etc. with wireless LAN device and compatibility
In addition, users need the log-in ID and password specified in their sign-up document for the wireless LAN option, which will be sent by WILLCOM.
