| DDI Pocket Announces Launch of AIR-EDGE MEGA PLUS and AIR-EDGE Pro |
| DDI Pocket will launch its high-speed service AIR-EDGE MEGA PLUS on February 2, 2005 (Wednesday) to give AIR-EDGE, its wireless data communication service, more speed and ease of use. In addition, the AIR-EDGE PRO service compatible with eight-packet mode will start on February 18, 2005 (Friday). WILLCOM Okinawa, which will commence operations on January 25 (Tuesday), will also offer this service. |
| MEGA PLUS (high-speed service V) is a service that boosts the sensation of speed enjoyed with AIR-EDGE by a maximum of 500% with the installation of dedicated client software into the user's computer. More efficient communications protocol and optimization of graphic files gives AIR-EDGE a sense of speed that is top in its class. The dedicated client software will be bundled with the AIR-EDGE brand handset, due to be released on February 2, 2005. Customers currently using the AirH" handset will be able to use this software by downloading it from the WILLCOM web site from February 2, 2005. |

The AIR-EDGE handset due to be released on February 2, 2005 will include a USB memory stick installed with the "Easy Setup Tool". The Easy Setup Tool will automatically start up when the USB memory stick is inserted into the computer, and even complex settings can be completed with simple operations.
The simple setting functions possible using the Easy Setup Tool are as follows:
- Driver installation to use AIR-EDGE
- ISP dial-up setting and e-mail settings (compatible with 11 ISPs)
- Optimization of AIR-EDGE communication settings
- Installation of MEGA PLUS dedicated client software
