DDI POCKET Launches Option 128, a 128kbps Packet Data Communications Service
A trial service launches before the official launch

DDI POCKET, Inc. is pleased to announce today the launch of a new 128kbps packet data communications service. The new service is scheduled to commence from March 26, 2002.

DDI POCKET began to offer in June 2001 a data communications service that utilizes a 32kbps packet data communications network system. The new service supports up to 128kbps, and is made possible by bundling 4 individual channels of 32kbps packets over the existing network system. The service is positioned as an optional service with the AirH" Tsunagi Hodai (unlimited access) Service, the current existing 32kbps packet data communications service.

Prior to the full launch of the 128kbps packet data service, DDI POCKET will launch a trial service on Tuesday, February 26, 2002, inviting users to participate. Users who have purchased the AH-G10, a 32/128kbps packet data card terminal made by Honda Electron, and have subscribed to AirH" Tsunagi Hodai Service, are eligible to apply from our dedicated homepage site. A total of 1,500 persons will be selected.

Details are as follows:

1. Service Overview
